The innovative hotel gyro remote is used as the TV remote. It includes a full QWERTY keyboard, gyro function (motion sensor) and also controls the TV. This enables unique handling. Only one remote is required to control the TV and smartupbox.

Hotel MediaShare

HotelMediaShare requires no additional hardware, no cable and no TV application.
All what the guest needs, is his mobile phone and the Wi-Fi network. The guest just connects his mobile phone to the smartupbox to be able to watch his personal media files on TV. Photos, music and videos in the large-screen format!

Network amplifier

The smartupbox uses the existing LAN or Wi-Fi network and can be easily connected without special technical knowledge while being easily managed. The integrated wireless repeater operates with the preexisting wireless network and amplifies the radio signals to ensure a smooth and stable flow of data throughout the hotel network. If you use the smartupbox over a LAN connection you can simultaneously set up a wireless access point for your guests. The smartupbox expands your LAN into a Wi-Fi network.

Timeshifting

The device supports all major communication protocols and video and music formats in Flash & HTML 5. Your guests, for example, can access the Second German Television media library or the BBC iplayer. They won’t have to miss any of their favourite programmes, instead they can view them when it’s most convenient.

Proven technology: Android operating system

A familiar handling and fast internet page loading is guaranteed by Android – it’s the same operating system that is used by smartphones or Google TV.

Theft-proof, small and sustained

The smartupbox is completely theftproof because it is firmly bolted to the TV cabinet. It is small (104mm x 99mm x 25mm), durable and unobtrusive but powerful, and offers a wide variety of use.

Internet content management

You can control and manage internet content comfortably on any internet enabled workstation via your browser. Send messages to all hotel rooms at the same time (“Live football today: final game on big screen in the lounge”), or to individual guests (“Your taxi will be available at 13:00”).

Yet unsurpassed are the multiple selection and design options in the free mysmartup portal: select from given apps or create your own hotel information apps. They allow you to configure a unique welcome page for your corporate design, hotel information, menus, etc. Create advertisements for regional theatres, museums and leisure services.
